The Fever Has Broke

I awaken soaked in sweat, weak, shivering! I smile to myself …This is what I asked for!

When Kali Answers: ASCENSION FLU
Last week, I made a post/Prayer asking Divine
Mother:
“If there is anything in me that cannot bow before the Goddess, may Kali come and cut it away.”
And then… the process began.
Fever.
Chills.
Headache.
Fatigue.
Stuffy nose.
Cough.
Waves of energy and alertness… followed by deep exhaustion.
It felt like the body was recalibrating.
Almost like a car adjusting to higher-octane fuel.
One moment I felt clear, pleasant, and even spiritually uplifted.
The next moment, the body asked for rest, stillness, hydration, nourishment, and surrender.
Some may call it ascension flu.

Some may call it an energetic purge.
Some may call it the emotional body clearing old residue through the physical body.
Whatever name we give it, I am choosing to witness it with awareness.
Because in Sacred Alchemy, we Innerstand:
What we can witness, we can refine.
What we can refine, we can transmute.
What we can transmute, we can sanctify.
That is Sacred Alchemy.
And this time, the witnessing brought me face to face with deeper questions:
Am I prepared to receive?
Do I Need Refining or Pruning
Where have I been lax in discipline?
Where have I been overindulging?
Am I receiving proper nutrition and rest for the level of intensity I am asking from my body?
What must I surrender for the next version of me to fully emerge?
The Humility of Seeing the Pattern
The truth is, the purge did not arrive in a vacuum.
I had to look honestly at the ways my choices had shifted.
French fries.
Potato chips.
Soda.
And the soda one really humbled me.
I can go years without drinking soda. Years.
Then suddenly, I found myself drinking close to a liter a day, asking myself:
“What is this? Where did this pattern come from?”
And that is where the deeper work begins.
Because sometimes overindulgence is simply the surface symptom.
Underneath it may be fatigue.
Underneath it may be emotional processing.
Underneath it may be the nervous system looking for stimulation.
Underneath it may be the body asking for minerals, rest, hydration, or deeper nourishment.
Underneath it may be a part of us reaching for quick comfort when the soul is asking for sacred discipline.
So I choose humility.
I choose awareness over shame.
I choose refinement over judgment.
I choose devotion over unconscious repetition.
This is the path.
Spiritual Awakening Still Requires Physical Nourishment
One of the lessons rising in this season is simple:
High-intensity spiritual work requires high-integrity physical support.
Breathwork, Kundalini Kriya, meditation, fasting, prayer, emotional release, shadow work, intense training, and deep energetic practice all ask something of the body.
So the question becomes:
Am I replenishing what I am using?
Am I getting enough rest?
Am I hydrating deeply?
Am I supporting the nervous system?
Am I receiving enough minerals and nourishment?
Am I giving the body what it needs to hold the next level of energy?
This is where our spiritual practice must become practical.
The temple needs support.
Zinc.
Magnesium.
Potassium.
Electrolytes.
Vitamin D.
Mineral-rich hydration.
Clean, living foods.
Deep rest.
Sunlight.
Grounding.
Stillness.
Not as a rigid checklist.
As devotion.
Because the body is not separate from the altar.
The body is the altar.
When Kali Comes to Cut
When we ask Kali to remove what no longer serves, we must be willing to see what rises.
Kali does not come only as a beautiful idea.
She comes as truth.
She comes as fire.
She comes as the mirror.
She comes as the moment when we can no longer pretend that the old pattern belongs to the new version of us.
She cuts illusion.
She cuts excess.
She cuts distraction.
She cuts the false comfort that keeps us from our highest embodiment.
And sometimes her blade reveals something very simple:
The body wants cleaner fuel.
The nervous system wants steadier care.
The mind wants clearer intention.
The spirit wants deeper devotion.
The next version requires a stronger container.
The Teaching of Rest
In our teachings, when the body goes through a seasonal illness, purge, or deep clearing, we honor recovery with wisdom.
The teaching is:
For every one day we are under the weather, we give the body two days of rest before returning to high-intensity activity.
So if the worst of the symptoms lasted five to six days, that means the body deserves about two full weeks before returning to high-intensity work.
Not because we are weak.
Because we are wise.
This is discipline too.
Rest is discipline.
Recovery is discipline.
Hydration is discipline.
Proper nutrition is discipline.
Listening is discipline.
Sometimes the ego wants to rush back into intensity to prove strength.
But the soul understands that true strength includes restoration.
The next version of me is not asking for force.
The next version of me is asking for alignment.
The Next Version Requires Discipline
This is the surrender.
The next version of me requires more discipline.
More alignment.
More nourishment.
More hydration.
More rest.
More prayer.
More sacred movement.
More conscious choices.
The next version of me is asking for food that carries life.
Breath that carries presence.
Practice that carries devotion.
Recovery that carries wisdom.
A body that is treated like a temple.
And this is the prayer arising from the process:
May my discipline mold me.
May my devotion refine me.
May my inner alchemy strengthen me.
May I be humble enough to see where I have drifted.
May I be courageous enough to return.
May I be devoted enough to choose the higher path again and again.
Because Sacred Alchemy is not about pretending we never fall out of rhythm.
It is about recognizing the moment of misalignment and choosing to come back home.
Back to the breath.
Back to the body.
Back to devotion.
Back to Source.
Back to the sacred fire within.
Integration Over Escape
So now, I listen.
I rest.
I hydrate.
I simplify.
I replenish.
I nourish the body.
I ground.
I pray.
I return to discipline without harshness.
This is the sacred balance.
We honor the energetic process, and we also honor the physical body.
We allow the clearing, and we support the temple.
We listen to the signs, and we respond with wisdom.
Because the body is where the path is lived.
The body is where devotion becomes action.
The body is where discipline becomes freedom.
The body is where alchemy becomes real.
A Prayer for the Purge
Divine Mother,
if there is anything in me that cannot bow before the Goddess,
may Kali come and cut it away.
Cut away the excess.
Cut away the distraction.
Cut away the indulgence that weakens my vessel.
Cut away the comfort that keeps me small.
May my discipline mold me.
May my devotion refine me.
May my inner alchemy strengthen me.
May this body become a clearer temple.
May this mind become a steadier flame.
May this heart become a deeper altar.
May this life become a greater offering.
I surrender the old rhythm.
I welcome the higher alignment.
I choose the next version of me.
And so it is.
Amen. Ashe. Swaha.
Sacred Note: Honor the body with wisdom. Rest, hydrate, nourish, and seek medical support when symptoms are intense, prolonged, unusual, or concerning. Spiritual awareness and physical care belong together.
